GAGARIN DEVOTED WALLPAPER, EARLY 17 COSMONAUTS SIGNED!


It's offered to your attention the outstanding 16x16" wallpaper devoted to the first cosmonaut Yury Gagarin self made of a photo and press-clippings glued onto the piece of paper. The photo shows the cosmonaut Yury Gagarin in uniform with awards on.

There are two goals of the wallpaper:
- it's inscribed by Yury Gagarin to FAI sports commissioner Ivan Borisenko;
- it's handsigned by the early 17 Soviet cosmonauts: Gagarin, Titov, Nikolaev, Popovich, Bykovsky, Tereshkova, Komarov, Feoktistov, Egorov, Belyaev, Leonov, Gorbatko, Zholobov, Shonin, Volynov, Artuhin and Hrunov.




Yury Gagarin inscription says: "Ivan Grigoryevich! As the commander of "Vostok" I hearty thank you for your attention and confidence to me. Your attention for me is the greatest appreciation of what was performed. Many thanks. I wish you peace, well and industry. Gagarin [signed]"

PROVENANCE. The wallpaper came from the estate of I.G.Borisenko - the sports commissioner who recorded all the Soviet space achievements. Borisenko was the collector and a person well-know by all the cosmonauts.
